A bold, low-growing rosette of large, glossy green leaves sends up an abundant display of rosy-red flowers on sturdy red stems. This easy-care, shade-loving perennial works perfectly in the foreground of a woodland garden. An herbaceous perennial; may remain evergreen in mild winter regions. Foliage turns dark burgundy from fall to spring.
LIGHT: Full shade, Partial shade
WATER: Water when top 3 inches of soil is dry.
SIZE: Foliage to 7 in. tall, 14 in. wide; flowers to 12 in. tall.
