Bold color and texture from large, glossy dark foliage with vividly contrasting accents. The greenish black leaves rise on sturdy bright green stems and feature that same bright green on their veins, midribs, and undersides. An excellent container specimen. Spreads freely in rich, wet soils; more slowly in dry, heavy soils. An herbaceous perennial.
