This small to medium-sized tree is prized for its vigorous growth, improved resistance to cold and bountiful harvest. It produces small, purple-brown figs with sweet white flesh that mature and ripen in mid-June. Figs are often root hardy and prolific in zones 5 and 6 if planted in a sheltered location. An excellent container specimen. Deciduous.
LIGHT: Full sun
WATER: Water deeply when soil is dry.
SIZE: Moderate growing; reaches 5 to 10 ft. tall and wide.
