Selected for upright somewhat columnar habit, nice reddish new growth in spring, and very dark attractive mature foliage, this evergreen shrub makes a fantastic hedge plant. Small white fragrant flowers are followed by fall berries that are loved by birds. A popular species for the Southeast.
