A vigorous evergreen shrub with bright green foliage that retains good color throughout winter. The upright, naturally cone-shaped habit makes it an excellent candidate for topiary forms, and a striking container or formal garden accent. Use in mass plantings to create either a free-form or a sculpted hedge.

| History | This is a hybrid boxwood cultivar that resulted from the cross of the Asian B. microphylla var koreana with the European B. sempervirens. It is one of the Sheridan Green Series introduced by Sheridan Nurseries of Ontario, Canada. Boxwood is so named because its very hard wood was valued in ancient times for making boxes and small containers. |
