Dense, glossy green foliage turns a splendid merlot color with cool winter temperatures. Clusters of delicate, bell-shaped, pink spring flowers produce exceptionally large, red, ornamental berries that hold from fall to spring. This low-growing variety makes a perfect, showy groundcover in a woodland garden. Evergreen.
LIGHT: Filtered sun, Full shade, Partial shade
WATER: Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
SIZE: Moderate to slow growth, 4 to 6 in. tall, 12 to 36 in. wide.
