New plants from Monrovia

We are continually introducing new and exclusive plant varieties. It often takes an average of eight years before we consider a new plant ready for national distribution. As a result, our new plant collection at Monrovia consists of plants that were introduced within the past five years. Monrovia is a leader in the acquisition, trialing and promotion of new plants. We work with breeders and plant hunters around the world, and of course our own Monrovia Craftsmen. Our Craftsmen are always looking for what's new and exciting. They nurture and evaluate potential plants in Monrovia's bullpen – named for a baseball bullpen where pitchers warm up.

New & Exceptional

Typically, only one in 50 plants under observation is added to our line. That way you know every Monrovia plant is exceptional. MORE
